Expiration dates have been a part of the human genome for the last hundred years, but this is the first time the death rate of infants has increased by fifty percent in the first week of birth across the globe.
In 2168, Albany NY, devastated over the quick death of her cousin’s baby, Cardiovascular tech, Elisa Quinn is not buying Orbis’s, the global government, reason as "another genetic hiccup". Together she and scientists, Ashley Quinn and Claude Monark, set out to discover what the real reason is for the deviation and this phenomenon and to try and prevent the unthinkable: these short dates becoming the new norm for everyone.
